WESTMINSTER (CNS) – A fire destroyed an empty RV in Westminster, authorities said Tuesday. The blaze was reported at 11:02 p.m. Monday in the 13100 block of La Pata Street, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Larry Kurtz, adding that 26 firefighters knocked down the blaze down within 15 minutes. No one was hurt. The RV was unoccupied but there were reports of downed power lines related to the fire, prompting Southern California Edison to shut down power to the area while the fire was being extinguished, Kurtz said. Crews were on scene repairing the power lines, Kurtz said. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
