West Hollywood Fatal Shooting


WEST HOLLYWOOD (CNS) – A woman was shot to death Tuesday evening in a residential portion of West Hollywood. The shooting was reported at 8:43 p.m. in the 8700 block of Rosewood Avenue, near Robertson and Beverly boulevards, according to Deputy Trina Schrader of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, Schrader said. Homicide detectives were summoned to the scene for the investigation.

At 10:15 p.m. Tuesday night, LAFD responded to a reported shooting in the 100 block S Croft. Crews arriving located a male victim located inside of a car behind a apartment building. The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene by LAFD paramedics from a self inflicted gun shot wound. Police believe this is the man who shot and killed a woman in West Hollywood earlier in the evening. LAPD Wilshire Division with assistance with LASD Homicide Division will be handling the investigation.
