Around 7 PM Monday night, friends, family, and community members gathered after a church mass to march for Cesar Rodriguez, a 19 year old LASD Explorer who was gunned down back on August 28th, 2011 along with friend Larry Villegas, at a residence along the 11800 Block of Painter Avenue. The suspect has yet to be identified or caught, and family is calling for justice as the killer remains at large. The march went from Life Tabernacle Apostolic Church at the 13200 Block of Beaty, passed the site of the fatal shooting, before ending at Amelia Mayberry Park. Norwalk Station Captain James Tatreau along with Mother Lupe Rodriguez spoke out at the park in an effort to raise awareness about the incident.
