The Powerhouse Fire continued unabated overnight though winds were not nearly as strong as they had been during the day on Sunday and that allowed crews to do some backfiring in an attempt to slow the fires progress later today. The fire is now more than 22,000 acres with about 2100 firefighters and other support personnel on the lines. The blaze is more than 20% contained and evacuations are still in effect.
