A female walked away from a solo crash that ended up in a creek near the 60 & 71 Freeways.
Around 4:30pm this afternoon, Los Angeles County Fire responded to multiple reports of a person trapped in a vehicle on Garey Ave near the 60 Freeway. Firefighters arrived in the area and found a female sitting down on a dirt access road that services Chino Creek. It appears the female walked to Garey Ave, which is about 200 feet. Firefighters searched the area for additional occupants from the vehicle. However, no one else was found. The female driver was taken to a local trauma center in unknown condition. It is unclear how the vehicle ended up in the creek. CHP officers are handling the investigation since it is believed the vehicle was originally traveling on either the 60 or 71 Freeway.
