NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CNS) – Seven people were injured Wednesday evening when a suspect fleeing police crashed in North Hollywood. The crash occurred at the end of a one-minute pursuit around 9:35 p.m. at the intersection of Vineland Avenue and Victory Boulevard, according to Officer Sal Ramirez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Division. The driver was wanted for reckless driving, Ramirez said. The suspect, who crashed into multiple vehicles, along with six others were treated at the scene by the Los Angeles Fire Department, according to reports from the scene. The driver in the chase, along with his two passengers, were taken to a hospital for minor injuries, Ramirez said. The driver was in police custody, according to Ramirez, adding that his passengers were not suspected in the chase.
