A big rig jack-knifed on the Eastbound 60 Freeway at Azusa Ave around 11:20p.m. Monday night blocking the three right lanes and the onramp to the eastbound 60 Freeway.
The driver stated he was entering the freeway on ramp when the load shifted causing him to lose control, jack-knife and causing his loaded container to fall off the cargo trailer and block several lanes. Fortunately, no one was injured. A SIGALERT was issued for several hours while crews empty the container and then use a crane to pick up the cargo container. CHP Santa Fe Springs Office is handling the solo crash.
