HESPERIA – About 3:50 AM Saturday, San Bernardino County Fire responded to a structure fire in the 11100 Block of Cottonwood. An aproximately 6 car garage at the rear of the residence was fully engulfed in flames.
Earlier this morning about 2:20 AM, a young man came out of his house to find his 1995 Toyota, with the rear window smashed out, driving down the street. While making a police report, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies from the Hesperia Station were called to the report of a hit and run accident at Sequoia and 11th Avenue. There they found the stolen Toyota, abandoned and crashed into a fence. As the GTA victim was arriving home in a tow truck, he found the garage at the rear of his home
fully engulfed in flames.
San Bernardino County Fire responded with three engines and two trucks and a fire investigator. San Bernardino County Sheriff and San Bernardino County fire continuing to investigate.
