California Highway Patrol are investigating a possible DUI crash that occurred Wednesday morning around 12:30a.m on the Eastbound 60 Freeway just east of Central Ave, in the Chino area. Prior to the crash, CHP received calls of a DUI driver at a high rate of speed weaving in & out of lanes. Moments later the driver lost control and bounced off the center divider wall and then rolled over multiple times landing on its roof along the shoulder of the freeway. The DUI Driver was trapped in the vehicle. It took firefighters about 15 minutes to extricate him. He was transported to a local trauma center, condition unknown. Another vehicle was also struck. That driver sustained minor injuries. CHP Rancho Cucamonga is handling the investigation.
